Since we last convened before break, our video editing is almost entirely done and our four units have finished the bulk of their work. I’m very proud of you! We have a series of PSAs that I’m confident are the best this school has ever produced. Global warming is a profound issue for every person on this planet, and 4-302 has thrown itself into understanding and proposing solutions for this problem.

This whole project has been a great example of how technology and literacy and social studies can integrate across the curriculum. In fact, I view our efforts as one big literacy effort: defining a problem, a role, an audience, and a message. We’ll be getting ready in the next two weeks to finish off the project and to put the results on line here, where you can see all our hard work. So stay tuned!
